Our most popular designs vary from cut string in all hardwoods, such as mahogany to hardwood and painted combinations. For the more discerning customer we can offer a more elegant finish with several bespoke handrail options available.  Handrail options include volutes, swan necks, ramps, and continuous and wreathed handrails. Decorative brackets, moulding and bullnose steps can enhance the staircase itself. Specially made Panelled posts, bespoke wood turned spindles and posts will give the overall balustrade a truly personal and unique finish.

Curved Staircases have been known to be the epitome of the joiner’s art and through years of experience and our commitment to quality, it is our belief that we have mastered this art.
We can offer all types of curved staircases including Half Round, Elliptical, Fantail, Spiral and Geometrical.  These can come in a wide range of timbers and in either traditional or contemporary style.  Contemporary can also include balustrades in curved and wreathed glass. To give an elegant and graceful feel to some of these staircases we use chosen elements from traditional styles and adapt them seamlessly to a simple contemporary piece.  Examples include curved handrail over glass balustrades or just simple flowing handrails with minimum fuss so as to emphasise the actual curved shape of the staircase. Traditional style curved staircases originated with master stair makers many centuries ago and it has always been a goal of our craftsmen to emulate and honour the craft that has gone before them. We offer many features from Heavy Panelled Posts to Curved and Wreathed Handrails.  Scroll or volute started handrails with continuous handrail can lift a staircase and give it a most pleasing gentile finish.
